Description
City Centre Family Physicians traces its origins back to 1958, when Dr. Doig moved from England to Hawarden, Saskatchewan. In 1961, Dr. Doig relocated to Saskatoon, and over the next sixty years and through several relocations, the practice gradually expanded to become the 16-physician group known today.
City Centre Family Physicians takes immense pride in its long-standing commitment to providing continuous, comprehensive care to the citizens of Saskatoon and the surrounding areas. The practice is equally proud of its team of highly skilled physicians who work together in a collegial and harmonious manner within a collaborative group practice. The organization looks forward to many more years of delivering high-quality medical care to its patients.
In addition to delivering exceptional medical care to its patients, City Centre Family Physicians (CCFP) plays a formal role in the education of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students from the University of Saskatchewan, as well as occasionally from other provinces.
CCFP is also involved in providing teaching and practicum experiences for a diverse range of learners, including Nurse Practitioners, International Medical Graduates, and Medical Office Assistant students.
Today, CCFP is dedicated to exemplifying a comprehensive Medical Home model, with a team of forward-thinking members committed to advancing the practice of medicine and enhancing the learning experience for future healthcare professionals.
