She is a woman, daughter, friend, mother, and wife. For as long as she can remember, she has had a deep desire to help others feel heard, validated, and empowered. She strives to create a space of safety, comfort, and inclusivity wherever she goes, both personally and professionally. She has three beautiful children who are the absolute light of her life. She had her daughter at 19 and saw herself through university, successfully earning her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2013. During this time, she also met her husband, and they went on to have two amazing sons. It was during her pregnancy with their last son that she began to explore the role of a doula, and a new passion was sparked. While she has always been eager to support women and children, she never knew she could do it in such a capacity as a doula. She became a certified Labour/Birth and Postpartum Doula in 2023 and launched her business, Dragonfly Nest, which includes counseling services.
