NCSA has been dedicated to designing and delivering programs specifically for Indigenous people, by Indigenous people, in Alberta. Initially focused on providing Courtworker assistance to ensure fair and equitable treatment within the legal system, NCSA has expanded its services to address a broader range of needs.

As a national leader in restorative justice, NCSA has evolved to meet the unique challenges faced by Indigenous individuals who often feel marginalized by complex legal processes. Our services include family and youth programs, Indigenous Courtwork for family, youth, and criminal matters, and the management of two correctional institutions dedicated to Indigenous offenders: Buffalo Sage Wellness House and Stan Daniels Healing Centre. Additionally, BearPaw Media and Education plays a vital role in advancing their mission. Through these initiatives, NCSA continues to be at the forefront of developing and implementing restorative justice models and practices that serve Indigenous communities effectively.
