Roziere Counselling Services in Brandon, Kim has a deep-rooted connection and extensive knowledge of the community. Her journey into mental health began during high school when she volunteered at the Brandon Mental Health Center. This initial experience ignited her passion for mental health, leading her to pursue a career in the field.

Kim's professional path included working as a Crisis Worker while earning her Bachelor of Science with a specialist/Honors degree in Psychology and later, a Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing. Her career expanded as she took on roles with The Crisis Stabilization Unit, Mobile Crisis Unit, Child and Adolescent Treatment Center, Community Trauma Team, and the Critical Incident Stress Management Team. From 2003 to the present, she has provided assessments and counseling in these various capacities.

Continuing her education while working, Kim completed a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistics, a method focused on optimizing performance through the integration of body and mind. In 2021, she also completed training in EMDR Therapy, a form of psychotherapy that utilizes bilateral neural stimulation to facilitate the brain's natural healing processes.

Kim finds great satisfaction in helping individuals overcome their challenges, enhance their strengths, and replace ineffective coping strategies. Her approach is entirely client-centered, as she believes each person has their own answers. Kim's role involves asking the right questions to guide clients toward self-discovery, recovery, and holistic happiness.
