Heather is a seasoned Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker, and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist at Autumnwood Counseling Thunder Bay. With over 15 years of experience, Heather specializes in trauma-informed therapy and has extensive expertise in addressing health-related anxiety and depression for individuals and families.

Heather earned her Master of Social Work degree from Lakehead University and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Before establishing her own practice, Heather worked as a Hospital Social Worker in the Hospice and Palliative Care Unit, gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field.

In addition to her work in urban settings, Heather has significant experience working with Indigenous populations in remote fly-in communities across Northwestern Ontario and Labrador. She is a registered provider with Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB), ensuring that her services are accessible to those in need.
