Black Lake Denesuline First Nation, commonly referred to as Black Lake, is a prominent Indigenous community located in the Athabasca Basin region of Northern Saskatchewan. This region is situated approximately 1,180 kilometers northwest of Prince Albert, a major city in Saskatchewan. Black Lake is a significant member of the Prince Albert Grand Council, a prominent organization that represents several First Nations in the area and works towards fostering collaboration and mutual support among its members.

The governance of Black Lake is overseen by a chief and a council of elected councillors.
